Gerald J. Micklow been very active in research his entire engineering career. He has over 50 years’ experience in the design and analysis of mechanical systems and power producing systems. Currently, he is a distinguished Professor Emeritus of Mechanical and Civil Engineering and the head of the Graduate Automotive Engineering program at the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a licensed professional engineer and has been actively involved in the design and evaluation of advanced power producing systems for over 50 years. Dr. Micklow has been deposed and testified in court 65 times as an expert witness involving the design and analysis of advanced Mechanical and Automotive Engineering systems.
Further, he has been involved with numerous cases an expert related to intellectual property
and patent litigation, including cases with Volkswagen, Hyundai, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche and Chrysler Fiat related to automotive engineering
systems.
